Everything you need to know about using, securing, and troubleshooting the Ledger® Live Wallet.
The Ledger® Live Wallet is the official software interface for managing cryptocurrencies stored on Ledger® hardware wallets. It allows users to buy, sell, swap, stake, and securely store assets directly from their computer or mobile device.
With the Ledger® Live App, you can view balances in real-time, access the Ledger® Exchange for trading, and connect with decentralized applications safely. This provides a full-featured crypto management experience while keeping your private keys offline and secure on your Ledger® device.
Unlike traditional exchanges, Ledger® Live Wallet does not require a username and password for a cloud account. Instead, your login and access depend on your Ledger® hardware wallet and its PIN and 24-word recovery phrase.
Always download Ledger® Live from the official site: Ledger.com to avoid phishing attempts. Once installed, connect your Ledger® device via USB or Bluetooth and log in through the app interface.
If you’re unable to log in, ensure you’re entering the correct PIN on your device. If issues persist, update both the Ledger® Live App and your device firmware.
This usually happens due to USB connection problems or outdated firmware. Try a different cable, port, or restart the app. Make sure antivirus or firewall settings aren’t blocking the app.
If the Ledger® App fails to load or crashes, update it from the official Ledger® Live page. You may also try clearing the cache or reinstalling.
This error appears if the app cannot recognize your hardware wallet. Reconnect the device, update firmware, and ensure you are using genuine Ledger® hardware.
Transactions may be declined if blockchain fees are too low or if the network is congested. Adjust gas/fee settings and try again.
If you enabled additional security and lost access, check the Ledger® Help Center. Recovery often requires your recovery phrase.
Ledger® accounts can only be recovered using your 24-word recovery phrase. If this phrase is lost, Ledger® cannot restore your funds.
